Fat legs strike back!

Hi, people! I've been extremely busy for a while + I've been working on my papers for two competitions + my Internet in the dormitory has suddenly disappeared = I couldn't write anything new on the blog until now. The late fashion inspector, Testinova, reports that one of the hottest SS 11 trends are fat legs! Cheer up, ladies, you don't have to loose weight anymore! Let's have a look!

(all of the pictures come from Jil Sander SS 11 show,

Oh, designers, designers, how perfidious human beings you are! The clothes seem to be perfect for women with cellulite on their buttocks and thights plus nice and fat tummies, who wear 12. But, for God's sake, size plus ladies, don't let the designers mislead you! They're mischeivous ad only skinny models look fine in tents on their hips. If you're size is bigger than 6, you're gonna look as a big champignon wearing such skirts and trousers.
I might sound a little bit ironic as somebody who wears 4/6 and gives advise to bigger woman, but this whole tendency to design clothes for "real woman" seems unfair to me. Curves are beautiful, so they should be shown, not hidden. And how are you going to show your shapes if you listen to what the clever fashion editors say and wear supertrendy loose-fitting "so seventies" trousers. My mum bought them and has worn them only once as she says she feels as "one big champingon" in them.
Staying in the topic of curves, I like whar Victoria Beckham did for her last show (SS 11 on NY Fashion Week). The clothes REALLY emphasise beautiful shapes of woman with the classic line of body (I mean with breasts and hips).

And here comes the moment when out-of-the-fashion-industry people should ask the question: "why won't the rest follow her and create real fashion for real women?" Because the fashion is not about reality. It's all about dreams. Models are the fairies and the elves of the present. Sorry!
